Greetings, fellow game developers! I’m excited to share with you my recent breakthrough in productivity. After realizing the importance of structure and focus in my work, I decided to implement a weekly schedule that has revolutionized my workflow. In this blog post, I’ll take you through my experience of getting things done and the progress I made during this week. So, let’s dive in!

One of the first tasks on my agenda was to bring old 3D models in line with the new pixel art style of my game. Armed with the motivation and a clear plan, I meticulously adjusted the textures of each model, transforming them into visually appealing assets that seamlessly integrated with the overall aesthetic. It was a challenging process, but the satisfaction of seeing the transformation was worth every effort.

Next up on my list was creating several sprites for the game’s user interface (UI). With the new pixel art style in mind, I carefully crafted icons, buttons, and other UI elements that not only looked visually pleasing but also provided clear and intuitive functionality.

To bring my game to life, I knew I needed captivating character animations. Armed with my newfound focus and structured schedule, I dedicated ample time to creating the much-needed animations. I adjusted some old animations to make them more pleasing and added new animations like a falling animation. Next time I will probably focus on transitional animations to make everything look smoother.

Bottom Line

Embracing a structured weekly schedule has been a game-changer for my productivity. This week, I successfully adjusted old 3D models to fit the new pixel art style, created UI sprites, and crafted character animations that added depth to my game. By allocating focused time to each task, I was able to accomplish more than ever before. I encourage you all to explore the power of a structured schedule and witness the transformative effects it can have on your own productivity.

Thank you for joining me on this journey of productivity and growth. Stay tuned for more updates on my game development progress, as I continue to strive for excellence in my projects. Until next time, happy developing!
