Greetings, fellow game developers! I’m excited to share my progress from this week with you. The main focus of my efforts was on designing the first level, and I must say, it has been quite the challenge. Crafting an engaging and enjoyable level requires careful consideration of various aspects to create an immersive experience for players.

Formulating the player’s journey and defining the purpose of each level can be a complex task. To streamline my approach and enhance productivity, I’ve been making extensive use of The Level Design Book. This invaluable resource has provided me with valuable insights and guidance, allowing me to optimize my workflow effectively.

Although designing the first level has been an intricate process, I’m confident that the end result will be worth the effort. With determination and creativity driving me forward, I aim to complete a first iteration of the first level by next week.
